What will you do with us at NYAB as a Project Manager?

As a Project Manager at NYAB Mälardalen, you will be responsible for leading and executing solar park- and BESS-projects from planning and design phase to completion. You will work closely with the entire project organization, especially the site manager, but also with the Design Engineer, Buyer, and others to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and with highest quality. You will have the ultimate responsibility for the project's execution, safety, finances, and coordination of internal and external personnel.

As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the overall project budget, including budget follow-up, forecasts, and reporting.
• Negotiate contracts with national and international suppliers and subcontractors, ensure and enforce contractual agreements.
• Coordinate the project team through all phases of the project.
• Ensure that the project is carried out in accordance with NYAB’s safety regulations and contractual agreements with the end customer.
• Manage customer relationships and communication.
• Collaborate with other functions within NYAB, such as construction engineers, salespeople, and buyers, to ensure efficient project execution.

As a Project Manager, you will report to the Head of the Energy Segment. NYAB Mälardalen currently has its main office in Stockholm as well as project offices at ongoing project sites.

The role will involve travel, as regular trips to projects across Sweden and the Nordics are required.

Is this you?

To be successful in this role, you need at least three years of experience in a project leading position, such as a project manager, construction engineer, or site manager. You should also have experience with projects and knowledge connected to ABT06/AMA – construction law. We expect you to be accustomed to working with clients and have a strong ability to build long-term relationships. You should have a high degree of cost awareness and the ability to manage time and financial requirements within projects. In addition, you possess strong verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English as you will be working with international contractors and suppliers. We believe you have a technical background and though experience within solar or BESS is positive it’s not a firm requirement.
